I am a math tutor in Smithfield, Utah. I attended Utah State University. As a tutor, I have a lot of experience teaching math to students ranging in age from middle school to young adults.My goal is to help make math something that students are able to do successfully, and may also possibly enjoy. My approach to teaching math combines patience with connecting ideas in ways that allow students to understand the concepts and remember what they have learned. I try to make sure that my tutoring sessions are enjoyable for the student; together we can laugh and learn.I teach elementary math, middle school math, algebra 1-4, pre-algebra, college algebra, calculus, precalculus, and statistics.In addition to teaching, I enjoy swimming, mountain biking, skiing, and snowboarding.
